Please note:
For all vehicle types, it is always the total height and length of the vehicle that is important, including all conceivable accessories such as roof boxes, bicycles, etc.
It is of utmost importance to book the right type of vehicle to ensure that the vehicle is accepted at check-in. If the wrong vehicle type has been booked, you risk additional fees or the vehicle may not be permitted to board if space is unavailable.
The transport of live animals (e.g. horses) must always be notified in advance. Other livestock must be booked via Stena Line Freight.
If a motorhome or coach is longer than the maximum lengths described above, they must be booked as a combination of a lead vehicle with a suitable trailer length. The length chosen must cover the full length of the motorhome or coach. For example, if a motorhome is 15m in length, it must be booked as a vehicle of 12 m in length with a trailer of 4m. The price will be adjusted automatically.
All vehicles booked must have a dedicated driver - if several vehicles are to be boarded with only one driver, this must be booked via Stena Line Freight.
Caravans and trailers must have an articulated vehicle that can be driven by their own power.
