Your travel information, updated 24 hours a day.
It has been announced that the ferry berths at Holyhead Port will remain closed until at least 15th January. All ferry services between Dublin and Holyhead are cancelled until this time. We are currently in the process of contacting all affected passengers. We understand the disruption this causes and are working hard to offer alternative travel options. For passengers who were booked to travel on Dublin – Holyhead from 20th December onwards, you can transfer your booking free of charge and with no fare difference payable to alternative routes including: Dublin to Birkenhead (Liverpool): motorist bookings only on this route, Dublin to Fishguard, Rosslare to Fishguard, Belfast to Cairnryan & Belfast to Liverpool.
Due to the high demand for pet cabins and pet kennels, we have created a temporary overflow area onboard Stena Adventurer (Dublin – Fishguard), Stena Estrid (Dublin – Birkenhead (Liverpool)), Stena Edda and Embla (Belfast – Birkenhead (Liverpool)) for pets travelling in pet carrier cases. Owners must remain with their pets, in the dedicated area onboard for the duration of the crossing. Pets in carriers must be pre-booked on these vessels, this can be done online at stenaline.ie and stenaline.co.uk.
To accommodate as many pets as possible in our Pet Lounge onboard our Belfast – Cairnryan route, we will temporarily restrict the number of people accompanying their pets into the lounge. All pets must be pre-booked and travel in pet carrier cases.
Customers can amend or cancel (with full refund) their bookings online for free at stenaline.ie or stenaline.co.uk. If you prefer to speak with our team, please call us from ROI on: 0035319075555 or from the UK on: 00443447707070. Please note, we are experiencing extremely high call volumes and longer wait times than usual. Our team is working hard to assist everyone as quickly as possible. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience and understanding.
