Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö, Sweden's three major cosmopolitan areas have a wealth of things to see and do with many museums, art galleries, markets and eateries to experience. Stockholm, the metropolitan capital of Sweden with its beautiful architecture, world class cultural highlights and vibrant culinary scene is a must-see for any visitor. Gothenburg is situated in a sheltered bay on the Swedish west coast and has a rich maritime history. It's known for its Dutch-style canals, leafy boulevards and narrow pedestrian streets lined with many cafes and shops. Sweden’s third biggest city, the vibrant Malmö is located in the south of Sweden and this innovative city brings you everything from history to modern dining experiences and an exciting night life.

Port Locations
Stena Line has two terminals in Gothenburg, one heading to Kiel, Germany and this terminal for travellers heading to Frederikshavn, Denmark. The Denmark terminal is further east on the Göta River close to the Masthugget District. The terminal is well signposted from the E6 and can also be reached by tram.
Please note: Boarding is only possible by vehicle for departures outside terminal opening hours or for departures onboard Stena Vinga. Boarding as a foot passenger is not possible on these departures.
The port of Halmstad on Sweden's west coast is very easy to reach by road with motorway access from the north, south and east.
Please note: you cannot travel as a foot passenger from Halmstad Port.
The port of Trelleborg is the southernmost in Sweden and is known as the gateway between Scandinavia and Central Europe. It is easily accessible on foot from the centre of Trelleborg or by bus, train or by car.

Karlskrona port on Sweden's south-east coast is easily accessible via motorway. Karlskrona has excellent transport links however, as the port is situated on a different island to the main part of the town, a taxi or bus trip is required to access the port for rail and foot passengers.
Our ferries depart from the new Norvik Terminal which is 4km (10 minutes drive) from the centre of Nynäshamn. There are several taxi services to the new terminal from the rail/bus station.
