Rail travel is subject to the relevant terms and conditions of the particular railway undertaking and where appropriate, the provisions of the Convention concerning the International Carriage by Rail (Cotif) of 9 May 1998 including the Uniform Regulations concerning the contract of International Rail passenger and Luggage Traffic (CIV) contained in Appendix A of the Convention. Rail Link Bus between Cairnryan and Ayr return
Rail journeys commence or terminate at Ayr rail station and a dedicated Rail Link coach service will transport you direct to or from Loch Ryan Port.
The through Rail & Sail ticket includes the cost of the coach. Dogs or pets cannot be accommodated onboard the Rail Link coach however officially registered guide, hearing or assistance dogs will be able to travel on the coach with their owners free of charge. For guests with particular needs the Rail Link coach can accommodate one guest who needs to remain in their wheelchair for the duration of the coach journey per departure. It is very important to make a reservation as early as possible but no less than 48 hours before the date of intended travel and specifically advise Stena Line of requirements
